CCTV appeal after burglars stole from sleeping victim

Offenders broke into a North Hykeham property before stealing items from a sleeping victim, including his car, which was later found burnt out in Lincoln.

It happened at a property on Glenbank Close in the early hours of June 23.

While the victim was asleep they took his bank card, car keys and then his car. They subsequently drove off before buying some items using the contactless facility on the bank card.

Once the card had been declined they returned to the victim’s house to take more items. At this point they were disturbed, but again left in the car which was later found burnt out in Lincoln.

Police released a CCTV appeal on Thursday, September 12 with a photo of two people they would like to speak to, who may information about the burglary.
