IBCC hosting Lincolnshire Village Life charity calendar exhibition

The exhibition begins on Friday

Lincolnshire village life will be illustrated in a photography exhibition at Lincoln’s International Bomber Command Centre.

The exhibition hosted by Ringrose Law and LIVES will showcase photographs of village life across the county from Friday, September 6 until Sunday, September 15. The general public are invited to attend the exhibition.

People were invited to send photographs for the calendar competition over the last few months.

The images will be displayed for people to then vote for their top 13 shortlisted photograph to appear in the 2020 charity calendar.

The winners will be announced at the end of September, with the calendar ready and available to buy from early October.

Next year marks the 50 year anniversary of LIVES and the calendar is seen as a great way to recognise the work of the unsung heroes across the county.

John Knight, Director at Ringrose Law, said: “This is the second year we have worked together with LIVES to produce a charity calendar.

“The quality of images submitted this year as part of the competition are of an extremely high standard and we thank everyone for taking part.

“We look forward to the exhibition being held throughout September and would welcome people to come and have a look and vote for their favourite images.”

The 2019 calendar was created with 13 pictures voted for by visitors to a special exhibition at Lincoln Cathedral.
