The Twang will headline 2Q Lincoln after sickness forced the Mystery Jets to pull out of the festival.
As previously reported, the lead singer of the Mystery Jets Blaine Harrison said that he needed emergency surgery before pulling out of future gigs.
Organisers at 2Q festival said they were working hard to find a replacement before announcing The Twang on September 26.
The English indie rock band released their debut album ‘Love It When I Feel Like This’ which reached top three in the UK charts in 2007.

2Q Festival kicks off at midday on Saturday, November 9 with over 90 different acts across ten venues in the city.
The Engine Shed, Home, Moka, Red Five, The Loft, Liquor, The Alleykat Club, The Angel Coffee House and Back to Mono are all on the venue list.
An array of local talent will also be performing at the festival including Carry The Crown, Vigilantes, Kings & Bears, The Ultraviolet, Mosaics and Northern Captives.
