Stolen tractor stopped after police chase

One person is in custody after a stolen tractor was stopped after a police chase near Corringham.

Superintendent Paul Timmins authorised a static stop after the pursuit of a tractor at around 11.30pm on Thursday, September 5.

The tractor was stolen from Osgodby.

Minimal damage was caused to police vehicles and Superintendent Paul Timmins said it “had the potential to cause severe damage and was a risk to life”.

Lincolnshire Police ARV Unit, control room staff and local policing officers all assisted with the incident.
