Yummy! Lincoln Street Food Festival is underway

A delicious variety of food to try

An array of delicious food from around the world is waiting to whet your appetite with the return of the popular Lincoln Street Food Festival.

Lincoln BIG teamed up with Market Place Europe to stage the event, between Thursday to Sunday, September 19-22. It will be open from 9am-8pm Thursday to Saturday and 10am-5pm on Sunday.

The festival serves a selection of delicious continental and international foods, including Spanish, Greek, Chinese, Mexican and exotic street food, alongside a traditional hog roast.

There is a range of fresh foods including olives, chilli relish, cheese, breads, marmalades, cheesecakes and sweets.

A fully licensed Continental Bar is also located on the Cornhill with a variety of continental beers.

Local food stall holders are looking to organise regular food markets in the city. A first trial hosted by the Lincoln Street Food Collective is being held on Thursday until 4pm between the University of Lincoln’s library and Student Union.
