A607 closed after Waddington crash

It is causing queuing traffic

Update: Police said at around 10am that the road was blocked, but vehicle recovery is now on the scene.


The A607 is shut after a crash in Waddington on Wednesday morning and local bus routes are also affected.

The crash at the end of Millers Road in Waddington was first reported to AA Traffic at 7.42am on Wednesday, October 2. The crash involved an orange DAF box can and an Audi.

One person was taken to Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham.

According to AA Traffic the road is closed and there is queuing traffic on the A607 Grantham Road both ways from Millers Road to Tinkers Lane.

A spokesperson for East Midlands Ambulance Service added: “We received a call at 8.22am on October 2 to Millers Road in Waddington. The caller reported that there had been a road traffic collision.

“We sent a paramedic in a fast response car and two ambulances. One patient was taken to Queen’s Medical Centre via ambulance.”
