Update: At 1.30pm Anglian Water said all residents in Birchwood have their supply back to normal.
A burst water main in Birchwood has caused some customers to have very low water pressure.
Anglian Water are working on the issue and estimate it will be fixed by 3.30pm on Wednesday, October 30.
Anglian Water’s fault map is also showing a mains repair in progress nearby on Black Lane in Doddington.
The water company said: “We’re really sorry but some customers in Birchwood may be experiencing very low water pressure. We’ve identified a burst water main in your area that we’re working hard to get fixed, so that we can get your supply back to normal as soon as possible.
“If you have no water at all, please contact us to make us aware as we are not expecting anyone to be off water completely. Again, we’re really sorry we’ve inconvenienced you and thanks for your patience.”

After any interruption to the water supply, it may look a little cloudy or discoloured when it’s back on. It is advised to run the tap for a few minutes and it should clear.
An Anglian Water spokesperson said: “Our teams are currently working to repair a burst water main on Birchwood Avenue in Lincoln. Unfortunately, this may have caused a small number of properties in the area to experience a brief loss of supply or a reduction in water pressure.
“Our teams have since re-routed water in the network and supplied tankers to the area to return supply to customer while we carry out work to repair the damaged pipe.
“Two-way traffic lights are currently in place to allow our teams to make the necessary repairs to the pipe and damaged road surface as quickly, and as safely, as possible.
“We’re sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, and we’d like to thank local residents and road users for their patience while we complete this vital work.”
