Fire crews tackle building blaze for over five hours

Three crews are still on site cooling down a gas cylinder

Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue crews have been tackling a building fire for five hours.

The blaze broke out at outbuildings on Station Road, Alford, in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Six crews rushed to put out the fire just before 5am and were forced to close off the nearby road.

Three of the crews left the scene at around 9.20am while those remaining continue to cool down a gas cylinder.
