Graphic CCTV shows violent three-on-one attack in Grimsby

Shocking footage has been released

Graphic CCTV footage shows the moment a man was attacked by three men and knocked to the ground in Grimsby.

The video from Humberside Police shows a man try to defend himself and avoid punches from another male outside the Alexandra Business Centre at the Fisherman’s Wharf in Grimsby at around 8.15pm on Monday, September 9.

Another two people then arrive and continue to attack the man. One of them throws an item in the man’s direction before he is knocked to the ground.

One of them men appears to continue goading him before leaving the scene.

The victim suffered cuts and bruising to his head and body. He is still struggling to come to terms with the attack, police said.

Police released a CCTV appeal on Thursday, October 3 of men the force wishes to identify after the unprovoked attack.

Detective Chris Clarke, who is investigating the assault, said: “We have followed up a number of lines of enquiry since the incident and are now asking for help to ID the men shown in this footage, if you can help please give me a call.”
