Huge world art installed at Lincoln school

Students now quite literally have the world at their feet

Children at a Lincoln secondary school now literally have the world at their feet thanks to a new art installation.

The Priory Academy LSST now has a huge satellite image of the earth just outside the geography block on Cross O’Cliff Hill,

It was paid for by the Lindum Group and installed by not for profit Nuneaton Signs which employs disabled people.

The students now literally have the world at their feet.

Academy Headteacher Jane Hopkinson said: “Our staff and students all think the new artwork is out of this world.

“We’re hugely grateful to Lindum and Nuneaton Signs for putting the whole project together.”

The work replaces a similar image outside the school which had been in place for more than a decade.
