Man found dead after incident at Lincoln flats

Emergency services attended the scene

A man has died after an incident at a block of flats in central Lincoln. Police believe the man jumped from a first floor window.

Lincolnshire Police were called to a report for the safety of a resident at a flat in St Botolphs Court at 9pm on Monday, October 28.

Seven police cars, armed police and three ambulances/cars were spotted at the scene.

Police said it appeared the man had jumped.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, but the death is not being treated as suspicious.

The man has not yet been identified.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “On our arrival we found a man who it appears has jumped from a first floor window, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

“There are no suspicious circumstances and the death has been referred to the coroner.”
