A man remains in hospital and his condition is now stable after he was stabbed in the abdomen during a fight in Boston.
Officers were called to Tunnard Street in Boston at 12.10am on Monday morning after reports of a fight involving a number of people.
Armed police were deployed and found that a 24-year-old man had sustained a serious stab wound to his abdomen. Police confirmed on Tuesday that his condition is stable and not believed to be life-threatening.
A 26-year-old man was arrested on Monday on suspicion of attempted murder. Two men, aged 25 and 44, were arrested on suspicion of affray. The arrested men remain in custody.
Police made house to house inquiries and officers are still in Tunnard Street investigating the circumstances of the incident at the time of publishing.
Lincolnshire Police are urging people to “please report any information to the police if you have not done so already”.
Detective Inspector Gail Hurley previously said: “This was an isolated incident in which the people involved were known to each other.
“We are working hard to establish the circumstances of what has happened and information from local residents will be extremely valuable to our inquiries. Please get in touch if you saw what happened or captured any footage or images of the altercation taking place.”
