Update: Police have now confirmed that the road is clear and open as normal.
A road has been closed near Alford after a car crashed with a tree. Emergency services, including an air ambulance have been spotted at the scene.
Alford and Mablethorpe Police said that Alford Road at Huttoft has been closed whilst they deal with the crash, which involved a Vauxhall Corsa. The crash was reported to police at 8.08am and force has advised people to avoid the area for the time being.
The female driver received minor injuries and was taken to Boston Pilgrim Hospital via road ambulance.
Lincolnshire Police said the road is blocked while the vehicle is recovered.
A spokesperson for EMAS said: “We received a call at 8.20am on November 20 to Alford Road in Huttoft. The caller reported that there had been a road traffic collision.
“We sent a road ambulance and an air ambulance and one patient was taken to Boston Pilgrim Hospital via road ambulance.”
