Extra Lincoln to London direct trains start this weekend

Good news for travellers to and from Lincoln

Extra direct trains between Lincoln and London start operating this weekend.

In September the LNER Azuma fleet introduced a two-hourly Monday to Friday service departing London at 10.06am, 12.06pm, 2.06pm and 4.06pm.

Southbound services depart Lincoln at 11.18am, 1.23pm, 3.26pm and 5.14pm.

In addition, it was also previously stated that the current 7.30am Lincoln to London, and return service from London at 7.06pm, will be replaced by an Azuma train later in the year.

Lincoln will now see five extra services on a Sunday.

  • 8.06am London King’s Cross to Lincoln calling at Peterborough, Grantham and Newark North Gate
  • 20.25pm Lincoln to London King’s Cross calling at Newark North Gate, Grantham, Peterborough and Stevenage

Saturday

  • 08.06am London King’s Cross to Lincoln calling at Peterborough, Grantham and Newark North Gate
  • 20.25pm Lincoln to London King’s Cross calling at Newark North Gate, Grantham, Peterborough and Stevenage

Sunday

  • 9.33am and 15.33pm London King’s Cross to Lincoln calling at Stevenage, Peterborough, Grantham and Newark North Gate
  • 11.33am London King’s Cross to Lincoln calling at Stevenage, Grantham and Newark North Gate
  • 14.35pm London King’s Cross to Lincoln calling at Stevenage and Newark North Gate
  • 10.55am, 12.23pm, 14.20pm, 16.50pm and 18.00pm Lincoln to London King’s Cross calling at Newark North Gate, Grantham, Peterborough and Stevenage.
