More jobs in pipeline at Lincoln drainage firm after move

Metro Rod will soon move to its brand new HQ

A drainage specialist firm has moved to new premises in Saxilby and has promised to create ten new jobs in the area.

Metro Rod will move to its brand new warehouse and office headquarters at Riverside Enterprise Park in the Lincoln village.

The company currently covers all of Lincolnshire, North Cambridgeshire as well as Hull and Beverley from its base in Nettleton.

In February, Metro Rod will move to its new premises and will look to take on ten more people.

Banks Long & Co acted on behalf of its clients, joint developers Stirlin and Castle Square Securities, in the sale of the hybrid building

Metro Rod operates a fleet of 26 vehicles and deals with a wide variety of drainage-related cleaning, repairs and associated services.

Spencer Horsfield, Maindrain Lincs director which trades the Metro Rod franchise, said: “Our new premises are in an excellent location with access to the A57 and A1.

“Our workload includes contracts with a wide range of clients, including local authorities, the majority of facilities management companies and the major construction firms within our territory.”
