Armed officers swoop in to arrest man in Grantham

None of the public were threatened during the incident

A man was cautioned by police over malicious communications after armed officers rushed in to deal with an incident in Grantham.

Armed officers attended a property on Coles Way in Grantham during the afternoon of Thursday, January 2. A man in his 50s was then arrested on suspicion of making threats to kill.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “A man in his 50s was arrested. He has since been cautioned for an offence of malicious communications.

“No members of the public were threatened during the incident. We would like to thank residents of Coles Way and other members of the public for their patience.”
