Man ‘abusive towards children’ outside Coningsby shop

Police are investigating

A man in a white transit van has been allegedly abusive towards children outside a shop in Coningsby

Lincolnshire Police said a man was reported as being abusive outside McColl’s on Silver Street at 3.30pm on January 27.

Police added that the man was in a white transit van with blue stripes on it.

In what is believed to be a separate incident, a school in Lincoln has issued a warning to students after a bald man allegedly stopped and had inappropriate conversations with people in the area.

St Peter and St Paul Catholic Voluntary Academy on Western Avenue in Lincoln said police have been into the school to warn of a suspicious character in the area. The suspicious man is described as bald with a tattoo on the side of his neck and he drives a white Hyundai.

Any reports of incidents of a similar nature should be made to police by calling 101 and quoting reference 344 of January 27.
