Man’s body found near Boston pumping station

Police are still trying to establish the man’s identity

A man’s body was found near a pumping station in Boston on Sunday and the death is currently being treated as unexplained.

Lincolnshire Police were called to the location on Chain Bridge Road in Boston at 6.27pm on Sunday, January 12 after the body was found by another person.

Police are still trying to establish the identity of the person.

Officers remain at the location on Monday and a scene guard is in place.

Detective Chief Inspector Karl Whiffen said: “We are in the early stages of our investigation into this death, and we are still trying to establish the identity of the person.

“I would appeal for anyone with information to contact us – even small details could help our enquiries.”
