Men seriously injured in Lincolnshire village crash

Police launched an investigation

Two men were seriously injured after a car left the road and ended up in a ditch in the North Lincolnshire village of Haxey on New Year’s Eve.

The passenger of a Blue Ford Fiesta suffered potentially life-threatening injuries after the crash on Ferry Road in Haxey at around 10.45pm on December 31.

The driver was also seriously injured. Police said at the time that both men were in a stable condition in hospital.

Police launched an investigation into the circumstances of the crash. The force said on Thursday, January 2 that there was no update with the investigation at this stage.
