New BBC initiative seeks creative Lincoln talents

Will your talents catch their attention?

Budding writers and creative talents in Lincolnshire will have the chance to get their work on air when BBC launches a new initiative on Wednesday, January 8.

BBC Radio Lincolnshire is opening a new door for people, who think they are better than those they hear on the radio or see on TV, to get themselves noticed through BBC Upload.

Whether it is blogs, vlogs, podcasts, comedy, short stories, fiction, film reviews, interviews, or just your thoughts on something, work can be submitted here for a chance to potentially go out on air or on local BBC digital platforms.

BBC Radio Lincolnshire presenter William Wright said: “You can upload anything – sound, video, pictures. You don’t need any fancy kit. We’re all for keeping things simple.

“For audio, it’s fine to use the voice notes or memos app on your phone or tablet. For video and images using mobile’s also fine – and for text just save your file as a document and upload it.

“If you know someone creative, give them a nudge and get them uploading.”
