Police raid uncovers £100k cannabis farm in Scunthorpe

A man has been arrested after a police raid in Bottesford near Scunthorpe uncovered a cannabis farm worth around £100,000.

Weapons were also seized at the property on Moorwell Road on the morning of Friday, January 17.

Around 160 suspected cannabis plants were removed during the raid by the Operation Galaxy team at Humberside Police.

The man arrested is being held in custody on suspicion of drugs related offences while enquiries continue.

A warrant was carried out in response to information about suspicious activity at the address.
