Two charged with murder of man in Boston

A third person has also been charged by police

Two people have been charged with murder as police continue their investigation into the death of Polish national Marcin Stolarek in Boston.

A third person has also been charged with perverting the course of justice after Marcin’s body was discovered at a pumping station on Chain Bridge Road in Boston on January 12.

It is believed the victim died as a result of a sustained assault and his body was then disposed of in the waterway.

Adam Kaminski and Justyna Swiatek, both 26 and of Union Court in Boston, have been charged with murder.

Adam Maksajda, 33, of no fixed address, has been charged with perverting the course of justice.

The trio were all remanded in custody and are expected to appear before Lincoln Magistrates’ Court during the morning of Monday, January 20.

Detective Chief Inspector Karl Whiffen, of EMSOU Major Crime and who has been leading the investigation, said: “I’d like to offer my thanks to the many members of the public who have assisted us with this investigation.

“It has been an upsetting time for many people in the local area, and of course those close to the victim, so I’m grateful for the help that has come from the communities in and around Boston.”
