Woman knocked off bike in hit and run near Heckington cemetery

A woman was knocked off her bike and suffered minor injuries after she was clipped by a German car close to the Great Hale Cemetery near Heckington.

The car was heading in the direction of Helpringham, near the Great Hale Cemetery on Little Hale Road, when it clipped the cyclist at around 5.10pm on Friday, January 10.

The car did not stop and drove away from the scene.

Police said the make, model and colour of the car are unknown, but one of its wing mirrors has been recovered. A sticker bearing the words “Made in Germany 17/05/11” was attached to it.
