Found: ‘Extremely vulnerable’ man missing from Grimsby

Alan suffers with confusion

Update from Humberside Police: Alan has been found safe and well.

A 71-year-old man from Grimsby, described as “extremely vulnerable”, has been reported missing after leaving hospital.

Alan Hutchinson left Dianna Princess of Wales Hospital at around 2.45pm on Tuesday, February 12.

It is thought he might be trying to find his way home to the Grange estate, however Humberside Police said Alan suffers with confusion and may have tried to find somewhere to shelter.

A police spokesperson said: “We are appealing for anyone in the area surrounding the hospital and in the direction of the Grange estate to please check their gardens and outhouses to see if Alan has taken shelter.

“It is a cold and windy night and we want to get him home safely.

“Alan is thought to be wearing dark trousers and jacket and a maroon jumper.”

If you see Alan or know where he, call 101 quoting log 383 11 February 2020.
