A 51-year-old local man has died after an incident at an industrial estate in Gainsborough.
Police, ambulance and fire crews all attended the scene at the Corringham Road Industrial Estate shortly before 4.30pm on Monday, February 24. People on social media also reported seeing an air ambulance landing near to Screwfix.
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) were also called to the scene and the coroner was informed.
A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “This incident was reported to us at 4.23pm. We attended a premises on the industrial estate on Corringham Road, Gainsborough.
“A 51-year-old local man died at the scene. The Health and Safety Executive were on scene and the coroner has been informed.”
A spokesperson for the East Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We received a call at 4.17pm on February 24 to attend a medical emergency at Corringham Road Industrial Estate. We sent a LIVES community first responder, two paramedics in fast response cars, two road ambulances and an air ambulance.”
A spokesperson for HSE said: “HSE is aware and is investigating alongside Lincolnshire Police.”
