Boston drain body: Three suspects deny covering up murder

They allegedly cleaned and redecorated the house

Three people have denied covering up the murder of a man whose body was found in a Boston drain.

Two people denied the murder of a 41-year-old man at a house in Boston when they appeared before Lincoln Crown Court on Monday.

Adam Kaminski and Justyna Swaitek both aged 26 and of Union Court, Boston, each pleaded not guilty to the murder of Marcin Stolarek.

Lincolnshire Police believe he was murdered between November 27 and January 12.

Kaminski and Swaitek together with a third defendant Adam Maksajda, 33, of no fixed address, each denied a further charge of doing acts intended to pervert the course of justice between January 13 and 16.

They are alleged to have cleaned and redecorated 14 Union Court, Boston, to remove evidence of a murder which had occurred at that address.

All three were remanded in custody to await a trial due to begin on 29 June.

No charge was put to a fourth defendant, Lukasz Ferenc, 27, of Windsor Bank, Boston, who is also accused of murder. He was remanded in custody to await a further hearing on May 15.

The murder investigation began after the body of Mr Stolarek, who was originally from Poland, was found on Sunday, January 12 in the South Forty Foot Drain near to a pumping station on Chain Bridge Road, Boston.
