Six stores across Lincolnshire will be open once more

By Local Democracy Reporter

Home improvement retailer B&Q has reopened a further 131 stores across the UK, including six in Lincolnshire.

286 of its stores have now been reopened since first closing amid the coronavirus outbreak.

The Lincolnshire stores in question are in Boston, Grantham, Lincoln, Skegness, Gainsborough and Spalding.

This leaves just ten stores across the country that will be left closed for the time being.

Graham Bell, the CEO of B&Q, said: “During this time of self-isolation and social distancing, we’re all learning new ways of living and shopping.”

“We’ve watched how other essential retailers have supported social distancing in their stores and followed their best practice with trials at 14 stores.”
