Man seriously injured after car hits tree on A18

Police are appealing for witnesses

A man was hospitalised with serious injuries after a car collided with a tree on the A18 between Brigg and Scawby.

A blue Fiat Bravo left the road shortly before 12pm on Monday, May 11. No other vehicles were involved.

The man driving the car was taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries.

Humberside Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information, or who saw the car prior the collision, is being urged to get in touch.

Police are also particularly keen to hear from the driver of a grey coloured van that was driving in the area as they believe they may have witnessed something that could assist with their enquiries.
