Lincoln Odeon to reopen on July 13

Almost time for a movie date in Lincoln

By Local Democracy Reporter

Odeon will be reopening its Lincoln cinema on Monday, July 13.

The cinema chain has been closed since March 17, but prepares to reopen next month with strict social distancing measures in place.

There will be limited seats on sale for shows, with guaranteed space between customers, but families and social bubbles can sit together.

Pre-packaged snacks will be on offer, as well as bottled drinks to avoid social contact as much as possible.

Remastered classics will be screened upon returning, including Dirty Dancing, Interstellar and The Greatest Showman.

Managing director of Odeon UK & Ireland, Carol Welch, said: “We’ve carefully planned every step of our guest journey and put safety measures in place that will enable our highly trained colleagues to provide a controlled and safer cinema experience for all our guests.”
