Lincs Air Ambulance to close Lincoln charity shop

It suffered from dwindling footfall

The Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance will permanently close its charity shop on Lincoln High Street this month.

The shop has operated at 115B High Street for nine years, but was suffering from dwindling footfall due to the change in shopping habits impacting high streets.

It had shut due to the coronavirus crisis in March and will now officially close for good at the end of June.

The charity shop has operated on Lincoln High Street for nine years.

Diane Eyre, Head of Retail and Volunteering, said: “It was a really sad decision to make, most of all because of our wonderful volunteers who have been the heart and soul of the shop which has operated at that site for nine years.

“We’ve let our volunteers know that there are other opportunities at the charity should they wish to stay with us and we obviously would love them to stay wih us.”
