Cardzone to open at Gainsborough Marshall’s Yard

Quick turnaround of former Clintons unit

Greeting card and gift company Cardzone will open a store at Marshall’s Yard in Gainsborough next month.

Cardzone, which opened its first shop in Sheffield in 2005 and has more than 100 stores across the UK, will move into the 1,496 square foot unit formerly occupied by Clintons on Saturday, September 19.

The former Clintons staff are also being taken on to work at the new store, which is located next to The Works and Holland & Barrett.

The new Cardzone store will be located at Marshall’s Yard in Gainsborough.

Charlotte Toplass, Tenant Liaison Executive at Marshall’s Yard, said: “It’s great to be welcoming a new store to Marshall’s Yard next month and we’re delighted to have a new company taking on this unit in such a short space of time.

“Cardzone stocks a great range of products and they’re going to be a great addition to the Yard. We’d like to wish the whole team all the very best with the store opening.”

Meanwhile, Gainsborough will host a three-day Continental Street Market over the August Bank Holiday weekend (29th-31st).

The market, which will have marked queuing systems, will be open from 10am until 6pm on Saturday and 10am-5pm on Sunday and Monday.

In addition to the stalls located in Marshall’s Yard, the market will run in Market Place and along Silver Street to offer a range of world cuisine, including Greek gyros, Spanish paella, and sweet treats.

There will also be craft stalls as well as fresh produce from local traders.
