Cyclist dies a week after Skegness crash

He died in hospital from his injuries

A cyclist in his 70s has died in hospital a week after he was hit by a car in Skegness near the Clock Tower.

The local man was taken to hospital by air ambulance on Monday, August 3, where he was being treated for his injuries since.

The crash happened on Clock Tower roundabout in Skegness at around 6.20am, and police believe there were many pedestrians who saw it.

The appeal is still ongoing, and any witnesses are being asked to contact officers on 101, quoting incident number 39 of August 3.
