Man in 50s taken to hospital

A man in his 50s was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash on the A17 at North Rauceby.

A white Vauxhall Insignia and a blue Scania lorry were involved in the collision at the junction with Main Street just after 8.20am on Tuesday, August 4.

The A17 at RAF Cranwell was closed and the driver of the Insignia, a man in his 50s, was taken to Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham.

Lincolnshire Police are appealing for any witnesses, or anyone who saw either vehicle prior to the collision.

Any vehicles travelling on the A17 in that location are also being urged to check their dashcam as this will help with the investigation.
