Lincolnshire Police have launched an appeal after an 18-year-old male with “distinctive dyed red hair” was stabbed in Grantham.
A man was taken to hospital with injuries consistent with a knife wound after police were called to Swinegate at 11.42 am on February 5.
Police said the assault happened in the Dysart Road/Swinegate area of Grantham between 11 am and 12 pm.
Police were seen walking around the front of a nearby church and carrying out forensics work in a coned off area.
No arrests have been made yet but investigations are ongoing.

An air ambulance was also spotted in Grantham at a similar time, but it is not known if this is connected to the same incident.
Anyone with information or CCTV footage, or who witnessed the incident, should contact police on 101 quoting incident 129 of February 5.
