Lincoln man to face trial for knife and Class A drug charges

He pleaded not guilty to three charges

A Lincoln man is to stand trial accused of supplying cocaine and possessing a lock knife on the A46.

Daniel Burrell, 31, of St Nicholas Street, Lincoln, pleaded not guilty to three charges when he appeared at Lincoln Crown Court.

Burrell is charged with possessing cocaine, a Class A drug, with intent to supply others on 4 December, 2020.

He is also accused of being concerned in the supply of cocaine, a Class A drug, between 30 October, 2020, and 4 December, 2020.

Burrell also denied a third charge, of possessing a bladed article, namely a lock knife, on the A46 at Thorpe on the Hill, near Lincoln, on 4 December, 2020.

Recorder Collingwood Thompson QC adjourned the case for trial on a date to be fixed at Lincoln Crown Court.

Burrell was granted unconditional bail until his next court appearance.
