Lincoln’s Glory Hole restoration to cost between £60k and £100k

The failing footpath has been closed since February

Lincolnshire County Council has revealed that the restoration of the historic Glory Hole footpath could cost between £60,000 and £100,000.

The Glory Hole footpath has been closed since February due to fractured wooden beams and areas of the concrete bed starting to fail. Repair costs are being driven up by the difficulty accessing the site, which will require a specialist subcontractor providing divers and the use of floating pontoons.
