Voice of Lincoln: Is Brexit going well?

Is this what you voted for?

Today Theresa May attended the Salzburg summit to further discuss the details of Brexit. With less than six months until the deadline for a deal tolls, we asked people in Lincoln how they were feeling about the progress made.

Lewis Littlehales, a remain supporter said he believes there needs to be a second referendum due to changes since the country originally voted.

Meanwhile, Christine Hoyle, a leave-voter, said she believes that no matter what the people think now, the results are going to be out of the people’s hands.

“We need the right person to negotiate the deal” says Margaret Luke who doesn’t feel Theresa May is up to the task.

No matter which way people voted in the 2016 referendum, a question that seems to be on many minds is: “Is this Brexit the one we voted for?”

Watch the video above to find out what the people of Lincoln have to say.
