The second annual Bangers & Fizz Charity Quiz organised by The Lincolnite, Ringrose Law and DPS Digital has raised £1,000 for St Barnabas Lincolnshire Hospice.
The event on Friday, February 21 was attended by 100 people representing businesses and organisations from across the city and county.
The 20 teams enjoyed delicious Redhill Farm sausages with mash and seasonal veg, as well as a chocolate brownie dessert with salted caramel ice cream and caramelised banana — cooked up by the team at White Hart Hotel in the Bailgate in Lincoln. The venue also kindly contributed with the pink fizz reception for the event.
The speed quiz hosted by quizmaster extraordinaire Ronnie Byrne got the crowds in a competitive mood, with Team Epix Media topping the charts and taking home a case of Prosecco as the grand prize thanks to Ringrose Law.
Alex Bennett, Associate Marketing Manager at Ringrose Law, said: “Once again a great night was had by all at our annual charity quiz night.
“The venue was excellent, food and fizz delicious and most importantly we raised a fantastic amount of money for St Barnabas Hospice in Lincolnshire.
“Thank you to everyone who supported the event – we can’t wait for next year!”
Thank you to the businesses who donated prizes for the raffle: Damons, The Unconventional Distillery, Elm Tree at Hundleby, Bar Unico, Lincolnshire Co-op, Imperial Teas, Lawsons, Brown’s Pie Shop, Doddington Hall & Gardens, Visit Lincoln, Jump Inc, Whisby Play Barn and Colin Wards Funeral Directors.
