The world-renowned Oktoberfest beer festival will be heading to Boston later this year.

The festival, which is celebrated in Munich, Bavaria, Germany, at the end of September and beginning of October, will come to Central Park in Boston on October 27 and 28.

Oktoberfest will feature a number of elements including music, games, entertainment, food, and singing.

The festival will be open at the following times:

  • Friday, October 27: 5pm – 10pm
  • Saturday, October 28: 12pm – 5pm
  • Saturday, October 28: 6pm – 11pm

An Oompa band will be leading the frivolities and celebrations with traditional Bavarian music and entertainment.

Oktoberfest is a highlight of Germany’s cultural calendar, and Oktoberfest Official is no exception.

The event aims to showcase the best in traditional German and Bavarian cuisine, with Würstl, Sauerkraut, Pretzel, Spätzle, Schnitzel, Schweinshaxe, Schweinebraten, Steckerlfisch, Knödel, Käsespätzle and more.
