Men on bikes bite victim’s ear before stealing his wallet in Grimsby

Police are investigating after three men on bikes reportedly robbed and assaulted a man in Grimsby.

The incident happened at around 12.15am on Wednesday, June 14 while the male victim was walking along Sixhills Street towards Hainton Avenue, close to B&Q.

It is believed a man on a bike approached the victim and asked to use his mobile phone to send a text.

The man refused and started to walk away when he was approached by two other men, one riding a bike and carrying the second.

After asking for a cigarette, they attacked the man, stealing his wallet, leaving him shaken and with a bite mark on his right ear.

It’s reported that the men then made off towards Willingham Street.

One of the men is described as white, aged between 14 and 15, chubby, around 5ft 8ins tall with light hair and speaking with a Liverpudlian accent.

He was wearing a grey zip hooded top.

Another is described as white, aged around 21, big build and around 6” tall with a Liverpudlian accent and wearing a black hooded jumper with the hood up.

The third man was wearing a grey hooded top.

The bikes are both described as BMX’s, one a red colour and the other blue or black.
