— Off The Bench, a Lincoln-based voluntary organisation, have set out to bring back the Ritz cinema to its former glory. This week, the team appointed Chris Curtiss and Ben Mills as Media Production Assistants to keep a video diary of the restoration project, and we bring you the first video of the series.

It’s such an exciting time for us to be joining the team and it’s been all go since joining. We’ve been tasked with filming the regeneration process and producing high quality videos that document this. These will be available at each project stage and then shown on the big screen once opened. Below is an example of our first video:

When the venue is fully renovated and reopened, we will be going out to local businesses to offer cost-effective advertising. We really want to create and feed the community element of the project and so before each movie we plan to screen visually stunning local adverts.

The plan is for us to film and produce these ourselves at a reasonable price. This would be a great opportunity for local businesses to be involved in the project and also have high-quality big screen advertising without breaking the bank. We’ve already produced a video for Frontline Laser-tag, which you can see below:

We really have a passion for media production and are at our happiest when behind a camera. If you have anything that you think OTB could be useful to get involved in, then get in touch and we’d be happy to talk to you.
