Summer’s End festival with headliners Ocean Colour Scene, a unique motors and steampunk day at Lincolnshire Showground, a Pokemon Go! day and St Marks Folk Festival are all happening this weekend in Lincoln.
Summer’s End Festival at Lincolnshire Showground
The festival will feature headliners Ocean Colour Scene.
On Saturday, September 3 Ocean Colour Scene will be headlining the Summer’s End festival at Lincolnshire Showground. The festival will run from 2pm until midnight with Shed Seven, Dodgy, The Wonder Stuff Miles Hunt, Erica Nockalls and High Horses will also be performing.
There will also be family entertainment, food stalls and craft beer on offer.
Some standard tickets are still available at a cost of £43.50 and can be bought from Ticketline.
Kustom Kulture Blast-Off Lincolnshire Showground

Also at the Lincolnshire Showground this weekend from Saturday, September 3 until Sunday, September 4 is the Kustom Kulture Blast-Off festival.
The festival celebrates hot rods and custom vehicles and the culture around them with live music, art, burlesque, rockabilly, steampunk and stalls alongside custom vehicles from all over the country.
Tickets can be bought on the gate with adult tickets costing £12.50 and youth tickets (15-17 years old) costing £7.50. Under 15s have free entry.

St Marks Folk Festival

St Marks Shopping Centre will be hosting a free folk festival on Saturday, September 3 with local music acts throughout the day.
Local acts will be performing from 11am until 4.15pm. Acts include The Delta Dogs, Big John Pape, Itchy Fingers, Nigel & Terri, The Rye Sisters and The Irish Folk Trio.
Macmillan Bake Off & Coffee Morning at St Marks
Running alongside the Folk Festival at St Marks Shopping Centre, the Macmillan Bake Off runs from 11am until 3pm.
The Macmillan Bake Off celebrates the start of BBC show The Great British Bake Off. People have been asked to produce cakes to be judged by the Lincoln Women’s Institute.
Victoria sponges, tray bake and cupcakes can be entered. There are two categories, junior for 9-12 years and seniors for 13 years and over.

Pokemon Go! day at Waterside

On September, Saturday 3 at 11am Waterside are offering lots of Pokemon themed activities such as facepainting, mini-competitions, a figure hunt and a decorate your own Pokeball cookie stand.
Head over to the upper floor of the Waterside shopping centre to take part in the free activities.
Lincoln 5K Walk for Macmillan

More than 100 people have signed up to Walk for Macmillan on Sunday, September 4, but there are still places to join the walk.
The walk will start at 10am from the Arboretum and follow the city’s landmarks, such as The Arboretum, the River Witham, Brayford Pool, University of Lincoln, The Stonebow, Steep Hill and Lincoln Castle.
Fiona Roche, MacMillan Physical Activity Practitioner at Macmillan Cancer Support, said:
“The walk finishes up Steep Hill, which I feel is very significant to me and our cancer survivors as the cancer journey is an uphill battle. They get so much support from family and friends so to be able to walk up that hill together is going to be very emotional for each and every one of them.”
