Protesting residents fear a planned solar farm across over 4,000 acres of farmland could spark “the end of Lincolnshire as we know it.”

Amid previous fears from Lincolnshire councillors that the county could become a “dumping ground” for Net Zero developments, residents in the North Kesteven district are fearing something very similar.

Elon Musk is the second richest person on the planet, with an estimated net worth of $182.6 billion — thanks to his business empires SpaceX, X (formerly Twitter) and Tesla.

The government’s decision to cancel the northern leg of the HS2 project could funnel an extra £44 million into Lincolnshire County Council’s coffers for the North Hykeham Relief Road.

This windfall is part of the £36 billion Network North transport regeneration initiative, set up in the wake of HS2’s cancellation.
