Two elderly women hit by car in Lincoln

Two women, aged 93 and 63, are being treated in hospital after they sustained injuries when they were hit by a car on Boultham Park Road in Lincoln.

The incident happened at around 11.30am on Tuesday, September 4, outside a police callbox and Boultham Park Medical Practice.

A Ford Mondeo was involved in the incident and no arrests have been made.

The 93-year-old woman is believed to have sustained injuries, but it is yet unclear how serious they are.

The 44 and 66 buses were temporarily re-routed.
