A county-wide event will see various Lincoln attractions open their doors for free or at a discount in March.
The event on March 5 and 6, called Discover Lincolnshire Weekend, is part of Lincolnshire’s contribution to British Tourism Week, which starts on March 12.
Discover Lincolnshire Weekend 2011 allows residents and visitors to the city to use a floating bridge, go on a cathedral rooftop tour or check out city museums.

Lincoln Cathedral
The Cathedral will offer free entry to the rarely opened Cathedral Library exhibition from 11am to 3pm. Rooftop and tower tours will cost just £3 for over 14s.
The Natural World Centre at Whisby Nature Park
See wildlife from the lakes on a floating bridge and climb wood exploratory towers for free.
The Collection Museum
The newest Lincoln museum will be doing guided tours of The Collection and Usher Art Gallery for free, as well as re-inactments of Roman life.
