Lincoln pubs hold beer festival

Beer festival: Three big pubs in Lincoln’s city centre will be holding a month-long beer festival with over 50 ales on sale.

Three pubs in Lincoln will be holding a one month beer festival starting Wednesday, celebrating the vast array of beers out there.

Over 50 ales will be available to punters in the three JD Wetherspoon pubs in the city: The Ritz on High Street, The Forum on Silver Street and The Square Sail on Brayford Wharf.

There will be a large range of British ales to try, as well as well-travelled beers from Jamaica, the US and many more countries.

The festival will run March 23 until the April 29.

The Forum manager Emma Keeley said: “We will be serving a real ale from Jamaica for the first time, brewed by a female brewer.

“Many of the beers on offer have not been available in the pub beforehand and I am looking forward to serving them.

“The festival promises to be great fun and I am certain that customers will enjoy themselves.”
