Police warn of leaving cars unlocked

Car thefts: Police are warning motorists to be more secure after a burglary in southern Lincoln.

Police in Lincoln are urging motorists to lock their vehicles after a sat nav was solen in the city.

A thief got into a Renault Clio overnight on March 17/18 in South Park, Lincoln and stole a sat nav, a stereo and MOT documents.

Lincolnshire Police encourage drivers to make sure vehicles are locked when left unattended and make sure valuables are removed.

Anyone with information of the theft should call Police on 0300 111 0300 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
