Nosey Parker set for £250k face lift

Rebranding: The Nosey Parker will undergo a makeover that will see it re-open as Lincoln’s first Flaming Grill.

The Nosey Parker will be calling last orders on Wednesday, June 1, while it undergoes a £248,000 makeover that will see it re-open as Lincoln’s first Flaming Grill, creating 11 new jobs.

Re-opening on June 17, the pub on Crusader Road will have general manager Julie Andrews and promises to deliver the best steaks in town. This will be the second time in three years that the pub has undergone renovation.

Andrews said: “We are so excited to be re-opening as a Flaming Grill as we are ready for a change and the new BBQ inspired menu will be fantastic! We will still be a community local but bring to our guests, both old and new, a sense of theatre on a plate with our sizzling skillets.”

The Nosey Parker is also gearing up for its grand launch weekend celebrations on Saturday, June 25 from midday for a Wild West day of saloon-style activity and is looking for a ‘Sheriff’ to officially declare the pub open.

Andrews added: “It’s going to be a wild and fun day of activity where everyone can get involved and let their hair down. However, we want a ‘Sheriff’ to be our opening guest and are looking for someone within the community who does a great amount of good work but doesn’t get the deserved recognition.”

If you would like to nominate a ‘Sheriff’ and their ‘Deputies’ who you think deserve a flaming treat or if you are interested in a position contact Julie Andrews at the Nosey Parker on 01522 524 401.
