Teenager arrested over Skellingthorpe crash

Three injured: A 15-year old girl is in hospital after a crash in Skellingthorpe at the weekend, where a teenager was arrested for driving under the influence.

A 19 year-old man from Skellingthorpe was arrested on suspicion of being unfit to drive through drink or drugs after a crash near Lincoln on August 6.

Emergency services were called to Ferry Lane in Skellingthorpe at 11.25pm on Saturday after a black Vauxhall Corsa left the road and overturned.

A 15 year-old female passenger from the car is currently in intensive care at Sheffield Northern General Hospital with life changing injuries.

Two other passengers, a 17 year-old girl and an 18 year-old man, suffered minor injuries. They are all from the Lincoln area.
