Car stolen in burglary and burnt out

Burgled and burnt: An offender broke into a city house, stole a car, and then set it on fire.

Police are appealing for information after a car was stolen during a burglary in the early hours of August 8 and later found burnt out.

This incident took place sometime between 2.30am and 3am on Monday on Renfrew Road, Lincoln, when an offender broke into the house through the front door and stole a set of car keys.

A white Volkswagen Scirocco was then taken from outside the property, which was later found burnt out in Maple Street.
